Ludwig began his career at the age of nine when he featured in a Harry Potter toy commercial, a job that enabled him to sign on with an agent and obtain more commercial work. His parents believed that child actors "can get sucked into a life that isn't reality." Ludwig earned a degree in theatre at the University of Southern California where he was in the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. I love performing." ĭespite his mother's early career as an actress, Ludwig had to convince his parents to support his desire to pursue acting as a child. Ludwig was drawn to the profession, saying in an interview, "I have a big imagination. The film was adapted from the 1968 novel of the same name by Alexander Key. In 2009, he starred as ‘Seth’ in the American science fiction adventure thriller film ‘Race to Witch Mountain’ directed by Andy Fickman. The critics also called the plot “clumsy” and “lacking a heart.” ‘The Seeker’ was heavily criticized for disregarding the source material. That same year, he also appeared in the feature film ‘MVP: Most Valuable Primate.’ In 2005, he made his voice debut in the animated film ‘Scary Godmother: The Revenge of Jimmy.’ After making minor appearances in films like ‘A Little Thing Called Murder’ (2006) and ‘The Sandlot: Heading Home’ (2007), Ludwig got his first lead role in the 2007 family drama-fantasy film ‘The Seeker.’ The film was based on the second book of the five-book children's fantasy series ‘The Dark Is Rising’ by Susan Cooper. This model is thinner and lighter than the 2021 version, which means it’s ideal for creatives who are constantly on the go. Most importantly, it’s got something its successor cannot match – portability. Meanwhile, it lasted just under 12 hours during our battery test, giving you enough juice for a full day’s work. We found it to be impressively quiet and cool, even when performing the more demanding tasks. It makes short work of the benchmark tests we threw at it. However, the original MacBook Pro 16-inch, released in 2019, can still hold its own in performance, offering more than enough for demanding creative workflows. The M1 Pro/Max-powered MacBook Pro 16-inch may be much more powerful, have a longer battery life, and come with a whole lot of ports for professionals. Read our in-depth MacBook Pro 13-inch (M2, 2022) review It's even more power-efficient as well, giving us two more hours of juice than the M1 MacBook Pro 13-inch in our battery life test. In our tests, it achieved better performance in both single and multi-core CPU tests, which means it's much better at multitasking than its predecessor and around twice as powerful as the Intel Core i7-1185G7-powered Surface Laptop 4. That makes this the best budget MacBook Pro to get right now if you don't want older internals.Īlthough this new model may look and feel a bit redundant to M1 MacBook Pro 13-inch owners, they'll appreciate that noticeable boost in performance. It keeps the same price as the M1 MacBook Pro 13-inch while touting Apple’s brand-new M2 chip that certainly makes up for the fact that Apple hasn't given its design and look a proper refresh. If you're looking for an affordable MacBook Pro that delivers impressive performance and power, then the Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch (M2, 2022) is a brilliant option. It isn’t as portable or as affordable as the 13-inch model, but if you’re a content creator, programmer, or digital artist who needs the absolute best without sacrificing portability, it’s well worth the money. That’s while touting a whopping 17-hour battery life – though in our own battery benchmark test, our test unit lasted us just shy of 16 hours – and a stunner of a screen with a huge 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. They should see you through the most involved 8K editing workflows, the most elaborate music score productions, and the most complex coding tasks. During our testing, we found these boosted specs of the MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) to be ideal for doing heavy-duty creative work, including 3D animation and music production. It has all the power of a proper workstation without being as big and bulky thanks to those M1 Pro and M1 Max chips that power its configurations. The breathtakingly powerful MacBook Pro 14-inch is the laptop for creative professionals, especially the jet setting and nomadic types. Otherwise, our best MacBook Pro guide below completes all the best MacBook deals available to help you save money. Of course, if you are looking for excellent desktop options, one of the best Macs might suit you better. We've tested and reviewed every MacBook Pro that hit the shelves and gathered our recommendations for every user. Whether you want the best laptop for photographers, the best MacBook for students, or the most affordable MacBook for your productivity needs, we're here to help. With an unexpected refresh dropping early this year, Apple users have even more options. That's not to mention all the older models that some online retailers still sell for less than their original price. For the rest, the MacBook Pro 13-inch will more than suffice. Other pros who care less about screen real estate but still need a lot of power will be happy with the MacBook Pro 14-inch. Creative professionals who need one with the most powerful internals and perhaps even a bigger screen, for example, have the MacBook Pro 16-inch. The reactions to Far Cry 5 have been mixed and while some of that can be chalked up to the "politically" charged nature of it, I have to agree that the criticism of the ending is valid. This is a trade off, but it was more than enough to keep me going. Joseph is a monster, but he was formed to be that as opposed to just being born that way. You fight them, but I did find that I could either relate to them or sympathize with them even if it was just for fleeting moments. John, Jacob and Faith are all vile in different ways but they all suffered from various forms of abuse and Joseph preyed on that to indoctrinate them into his twisted way of thinking. This is too bad, but I think the game compensates by giving you interesting friends (my favourites being Cheesburger the bear, Peaches the cougar and Boomer the dog) and interesting villains. Other than taking these people out and saving your friends, there is no progression until you hit the ending conflict. You get the choice of which area to go to (its divided into 5 areas, each of the lieutenants controls a portion of the map then Dutch's island and the actual compound for Eden's Gate cult) and the game plays out in the same way no matter where you go. The plot has a good setup, you're trying to dismantle the cult piece by piece (even if you have to ignore the plot hole that your character should be high-tailing it out of the state for help the first chance he/she gets) and take care of the villainous Joseph Seed and his lieutenants John, Jacob and Faith. The plot of Far Cry 5 is best looked at one of two ways. It added to a different feel than other sandbox games I've played. Setting it in Montana, the lush forests and American Midwest setting offer a lot of unique wildlife and creative environments to travel through. This is true of other open-world games, but I also loved the setting. There's a chaotic nature to it that's a lot fun and there's always something going on. I think it stacks up to the best in the genre (Rockstar's titles, Ubisoft's other franchises etc.). I wasn't familiar with the Far Cry series but having played Far Cry 5, I loved the open world mechanics of it. The uncle wakes up and caught you two having sexThe concept of Far Cry 5 was the primary reason I picked up Far Cry 5 but a friend of mine recommended highly as well. My beloved aunt! We're going to be together forever!" "I successfully helped my Aunt have a baby! She looks so happy! "I Fucked my aunt so hard I got her pregnant! Impregnanting the aunt at each different phrases give different ending.Įnding 1: "I secretly impregnated my Aunt"Įnding 2: (I forgot to try it, maybe someone else can help me fill this in) In system, there is a option to click to open up in-game tips, so when in doubt, you can check on it on how to progress onto next phrase. The expression and the dialogue for sex scene is quite lewd and erotic. The presence of an uncle or lack thereof changes the interaction with the aunt too.ĭefinitely, more content can be added to make a better stimulation since the current version still feels a little barebone. The dialogue and reaction to the sexual acts change with the phrases too. It captures the feeling of stimulation pretty well. I like how the game slowly progresses their relationship, separating them into like phrases. A nice game to slow ourselves down and enjoy a short dreamlike romance with a beautiful aunt. In March and April 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Goya donated over 300,000 pounds (140,000 kg) of food, or about 270,000 meals, to food banks and other organizations in the United States, and also donated more than 20,000 protective masks. "Goya Gives" is a program to support various charities, scholarships, and events, and includes donations of products to food shelters and food banks during times of crisis, such as Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Goya also operates a manufacturing facility in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic, and a distribution center in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Currently, Goya Foods is headquartered on a 40-acre (16 ha) lot in Jersey City, New Jersey. īetween 20 Goya opened five new facilities including manufacturing and distribution centers located in New Jersey, Texas, California, and Georgia to meet rising consumer demand. In 2006, Forbes ranked Goya 355th on its list of the largest private companies in the United States. Their products are sold in stores and supermarket chains throughout the United States (including Puerto Rico) and international markets. Goya manufactures and distributes products from the Spanish, Puerto Rican, Caribbean, Mexican, Cuban and Central and South American cuisine. In 2019, Goya had talks with The Carlyle Group about a possible buyout the company ultimately decided not to sell itself to The Carlyle Group. In 2012, the company began construction on a $127 million distribution center in the industrial Meadowlands area of Jersey City, backed by state tax incentives that aided the company in its move from Secaucus to the Jersey City site. The fracturing of Goya's ownership among its founders' descendants has frequently led to disputes about the company's strategy. Robert Unanue has been the chief executive since 2004. Joseph Unanue retained a significant stake in the company, and retained a seat on its board he died in 2013. Robert Unanue and his cousin Francisco Unanue made the decision to remove Andy, who had previously been considered the "heir apparent" to Goya. Joseph's son Andy Unanue, the chief operating officer of the company, also left Goya amid the disagreement, prompting litigation. Unanue's ouster, Goya was generating from $750 million, to more than $1 billion in revenue. Unanue was ousted from his position as Goya chairman and CEO in 2004, amid a feud in the Unanue family about the direction of the company. By 1998, the company produced about 800 food items (including rice, beans, sauces, and spices), had 2,000 employees, and about $700 million in revenue. Unanue became chief executive of Goya, then a fairly small, $8.5 million company. When Prudencio Unanue died in 1976, he left Goya to his sons, Joseph, Charles, Francisco and Anthony. Prudencio purchased the "Goya" name from a Moroccan sardine company because he believed that his last name was too difficult to pronounce for American customers and also liked the association to Spanish artist Francisco Goya. The family had originally opened a small store called "Unanue and Sons" in 1922 however, it was converted to wholesale in the mid 1930s. Prudencio immigrated to Puerto Rico, where he met and married Carolina Casal (1890–1984), also a Spanish immigrant they later moved to New York City. Goya Foods was founded in 1933 (some sources claim 1936 ), by Prudencio Unanue Ortiz (1886–1976) from Valle de Mena, Spain. If I wanted to get more rogue than wizard, what do you think is highest level of spell from wizard I would want to end at for good utility spells? I guess I’m trying to optimize what I can for what is likely an unoptimal build.A place to discuss the latest version of Dungeons & Dragons, the fifth edition, known during the playtest as D&D Next. So what advice would you have for doing the swap in a satisfying way? I could just go to wizard straight at level 2, but that feels a bit narratively unsatisfying. That said, I also don’t want to be too weak or a detriment to the team for awhile. I know people say both rogue and wizard are ones you don’t really wanna multiclass out of cause they’re level up are so useful. I’ve looked at a lot of similar questions and people usually get a lot of optimization suggestions like dip two into bladesinger or school of divination, but I want to stick with the backstory and narrative for my character over power. My problem is just trying to nail down how to do the transition. I started with a rogue intending to mainly be an arcane trickster/order of scribes hybrid, but as I’ve thought about it more and looked at what my party members intend to do, I feel like transitioning into more wizard than rogue would be more beneficial and fun with our group. So my campaign recently started, still level one hopefully close to two.
